Cherry Pudding

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 13^ teaspoon baking powder
• pinch salt
• Beat yolk of one egg
• one-third cup sugar
• three tablespoons melted butter
• one-quarter cup milk
• Add one cup seeded cherries
• and white of egg beaten

Method

   Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

   Mix with the sifted mixture.

   Steam in five cups for twenty-five minutes.

   For chocolate pudding add two squares melted chocolate instead of the cherries.

   Serve with hard sauce.
