Celery Soup

Ingredients

• i pint of milk
• i tablespoon of butter
• 2 of flour
• a dash of celery salt
• i of pepper

Method

   Bring water to the boiling point and simmer for half an hour.

   Drain and pass through a colander, using as much celery as will press through.

   Add the milk, heat in a double boiler, rub together the butter and flour, and stir into the soup.

   Stir and cook until smooth.

   Add celery salt and pepper, and serve.
