Can't Fail Caramels

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 4 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 cup cream

Method

   Combine all ingredients except vanilla.

   Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

   Cook to 248° F. or hardball stage, stirring frequently.

   Remove from heat, add vanilla; pour into a greased pan.

   When firm cut in squares and wrap.
