Butter Dressing for Potato Salad

Ingredients

• one cupful butter, melted
• one tablespoonful of flour
• half cupful of vinegar
• one teaspoonful salt
• one egg
• half teaspoonful mustard
• a little pepper
• a small cupful of boiling water

Method

   Add melted butter into which is stirred flour, vinegar, salt, egg, mustard, and pepper.

   Add boiling water, and cook together until thickened like cream.
