Broiled Potatoes and Cheese

Ingredients

• 5 large Potatoes
• 1 Lb. sharp Cheese
• Pt. half-and-half
• lb. Butter
• level tsp. Flour

Method

   Make sauce of melted butter, flour, and half-and-half.

   Let potatoes cool, cut in thin small squares.

   Combine potatoes and sauce.

   Let stand in sauce 2 or 3 hours.

   Sprinkle with rest of grated cheese.

   Broil 15 minutes at 300° until nicely browned.
