Braised Beef Slices

Ingredients

• 3 slices of meat, 3 lbs.
• 10 small peeled onions
• 3 carrots cut into cubes
• % lb. of butter
• 1 ^^ tbsps. of flour
• Vz qt. of bouillon
• 1 % tbsps. of vinegar

Method

   Salt and pound the meat, brown in hot butter, then place in a pot.

   Add carrots and onions, pour bouillon over, and cook slowly until tender.

   Remove meat and vegetables, brown flour in the butter, add gravy and vinegar, boil and strain.

   Serve with gravy and garnished with vegetables.
