Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients

• 1 quart navy beans
• 1/4 cup molasses or brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon salt
• small pieces of salt pork or bacon
• 1/4 teaspoon mustard

Method

   Soak beans overnight and bring to a boil.

   Add salt and meat, cook until tender, put in baking dish, add molasses, and bake for 30 minutes.
