Beefsteak Fried with Onions

Ingredients

• Prepare a nice steak
• pepper
• salt
• roll in flour
• fry in hot lard
• add onion chopped fine
• water enough to make a good gravy

Method

1. 1

   Fry the steak in hot lard until done, then remove it from the pan.

   Add chopped onion, pepper, salt, and water to make gravy.

   Cook briefly, return the steak to the pan, and let it stand in the gravy for a few minutes.

   Serve while hot.
