Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

• 2 cups sifted flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• l cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 large or 4 small mashed bananas
• l cup ground or chopped nuts

Method

   Measure and sift together flour, soda, and salt, cream margarine, add sugar.

   Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla and stir in mashed bananas.

   Fold in dry ingredients and nuts.

   Place in well-greased 9x5x3 loaf pan or square cake pan.

   Bake at 325 degrees F, for 55-60 minutes.
