Banana Groquettes

Ingredients

• icup Grape-Nuts
• I egg
• 6 bananas
• 2 leveltablespoonfuls milk or water

Method

   Peel the bananas and scrape to remove the acrid portion next to the skin.

   Beat the egg just sufficiently to blend the white and yolk, add the milk.

   Dip the bananas into the beaten egg, then roll in the Grape-Nuts until well coated.

   Place on an oiled tin and bake in moderate oven until tender, which will be from twenty to thirty minutes.
