Baked Corn

Ingredients

• 1 dozen ears of corn
• 1 cup of boiling milk
• 1/2 cup butter

Method

   Cut the grains of 1 dozen ears of corn down the middle and scrape.

   Add 1 cup of boiling milk and 1/2 cup butter.

   Season to taste, put in a buttered baking dish, cover with rolled cracker crumbs, sprinkle with bits of butter and bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.
