Baked Apples

Ingredients

• Y2 cupcorn syrup
• Ye cup brown sugar
• Ye cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons raisins
• Ye teaspoon cinnamon
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 6 baking apples (preferably Rome Beauty)

Method

   Preheat oven to 325°.

   Combine syrup, sugars, marmalade, and butter in a saucepan, cook until dissolved.

   Wash and core apples, fill with brown sugar mixture, place in baking pan, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.

   Turn and baste, bake uncovered for 15 minutes longer.

   Serve with vanilla ice cream.
