Use the following ingredients : Apples pared, cored and sliced ; one quart sifted flour ; three teaspoon- fuls baking powder, incorporated with the dry flour ; one-half teaspoonful salt ; two tablespoonfuls lard 86 Canoe and Camp Cookery.
