Bacon and Egg Pie

Ingredients

• ¢ Ib. pastry, rough puff or short crust
• 4 eggs
• 8 rashers of bacon
• Seasoning.

Method

   Roll out half the pastry and line an enamel plate.

   Prepare the bacon by removing rind and bones, cut into dice.

3. 3

   Put half the bacon on the plate, break 4 eggs on top, season, and add the remaining bacon.

   Cover with the rest of the pastry, seal, and make cuts on top.

   Bake in a moderate oven for 35-40 minutes.
