Aunt Elinor's Cup Cake

Ingredients

• }4 cup butter
• 1 tablespoon lemon or vanilla
• 2 or 3 eggs
• 1 3^ cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• J^ cup milk
• J^ teaspoon salt

Method

   Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolks, flavoring, then flour sifted with baking powder and milk, stiffly beaten whites of eggs last.

   Bake at 375° to 400°.

   Delicious as little cakes or as a loaf.
