APPLE MERINGUE. Pare, cut into halves, and remove the cores of some nice pippin apples. Put them in a dish suitable to put upon the table. Sprinkle well with sugar ; cook in the oven until tender. Take the whites of eggs beaten to a stiff froth, add one table-spoonful of white sugar
