Adelaide Sandwiches

Ingredients

• Bread
• Ham or bacon
• Butter
• Two tablespoonfuls of white sauce
• Chicken or game
• Parmesan cheese

Method

1. 1

   Cut rounds of stale bread the size and thickness of a crown piece, fry in clarified butter until golden.

   Mince chicken or game with a little ham or bacon, stir white sauce in a pan, and when boiling, add the mince.

   Put a thick layer between two pieces of bread, mix equal parts of butter and grated cheese, place a piece on each sandwich, and bake for about ten minutes in a hot oven.
