1% cups corn meal
1 2-3 cups milk
4 t. baking powder
Gul sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1-3 cup melted shortening✪ Corn Muffins
Sift flour once, measure, add corn
meal and sift again. Combine eggs
and milk, add shortening, mix only
enough to dampen flour. Add salt,
sugar, baking powder. Mix well. Bake
in hot oven 425 F. for 25 minutes.
