orange-butter icing when cold.

"MOM" BRAUN'S BURNT SUGAR CAKE
Place in saucepan on medium heat 1 C. sugar. Allow to
brown until it almost burns, but be sure it does not
burn. Add 1 C. water and allow to simmer until it
dissolves in water. Set aside to cool.
