proof paper. Put the eggs and sugar into
a basin and whisk hard until thick. Sieve
the flour and: fold in with a metal spoon,
then fold in the butter and hot water.

220°C, Gas Mark 7), fore 10, “minutes:
Sprinkle a sheet of greaseproof paper
with icing sugar. When the roll is ready

paper on top of the cake and roll up. Leave
until cool. To make the filling whip the
