APPLE PUDDING.—chop 4 oz. suet finely, mix 2 oo with 4 lb. floursadding 4 teaspoonful baking powder and tittle salt, sufficient cold water to mix to stiff pasteApple Pudding. Kneau paste until smooth ; roll out. Grease pudding basin, line with paste, half fill with peeled, cut, cored apples, sprinkle sugar over. Fill basin with apples, adding more sugar and little cold water. Make cover of paste for tep, wet edges with cold water and press together. Place basin in boiling water and boil, or, if preferred, steam about 3 hrs., then turn out on hot dish, serve with sweet sauce. Puddings with other = fruit may be made same way.
