Treatment. In these cases this Remedy is as much a specific as quinine is in ague, chloroform in cramps, morphine in pain, chloral in wakefulness, or Dr. Fenner’s St. Vitus’ Dance Specific in that dread disease, St. Vitus’ Dance (and it has never been known to fail.) : It is warming to the throat but as harmless as milk, and must not be diluted before taking or soon after by drinking water or tea. It is usually taken immediately ‘after the meal and must be allowed to apply itself to the coats of the stomach. An additional dose may be taken at any time between meals, if the first has not given complete relief. It sometimes acts better, however, taksn a little at: the meal. A trial will soon show which acts most agreeably in one’s case. ~ It is a great satisfaction to prescribe this Remedy because the patient always says he is better: “it helped him quickly and it permanently cured”—is the universal report. .
