3 teaspoonfuls of ginger✪ Gingerbread; add these gradually to the
other ingredients. Mix well. Spread thickly on a
well buttered paper in a baking tin. Bake in a
moderate oven about 40 minutes.

in a medium oven. Dust over the tins with lard
